The spirit of gratitude permeates our culture, starting around November in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. However, gratitude is a practice we should exercise every day. As we wrap up 31 Reasons to Give to The WIT Network during this month of giving, we first want to thank everyone who contributed to our campaign to further our cause, promoting the career growth of women in tech. The WIT Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so the donations you contribute go directly into the growth of our programs to serve our members, furthering our mission and cause. The WIT Network is passionate about bridging gender disparity in the workplace and creating positive change for the growth of women in tech careers. We hope you echo our passion for supporting women in tech and our goal to effect positive change in the workplace. As we reflect on this month, we also want to express our gratitude for the key players within our organization that make everything possible. As we discussed in a previous blog, our communities are the heartbeat of our organization. Without the dedication of our volunteer community leaders, we would not be able to provide the level of leadership and programming each of our local communities receives. To each of our community leaders who make it possible to serve the many women who need the support of leadership, networking, and mentorship, we thank you. The WIT Network operates with a small, but mighty core leadership team responsible for all our corporate partnerships, member management, programming and messaging to name a few. Without the daily contributions of this team, The WIT Network would not be where we are today. To our team that works relentlessly to ensure our message is being heard and our mission is being accomplished – thank you. An extension of our small, but mighty team includes our programming partners. Without your active participation which brings our programs and events to life, we would not be able to provide the level of value to our membership, further enhancing their opportunities for career growth. Thank you for believing in our mission and what we’re trying to accomplish and linking arms with us to serve our network. We cannot do this alone and appreciate your valuable contributions. To our corporate partners – The WIT Network would not be able to impact as many women in tech without your support. Thank you for supporting our mission and providing memberships to the women in your organization. These memberships provide education, training and mentorship and networking to the women in your organizations, moving us closer to our goal of impacting gender disparity and creating more growth opportunities for women. We credit our large-scale growth and continual impact to your support. We cannot thank you enough. |

After over six years of advocating for women in tech and providing resources for their growth, we are grateful for the progress we’ve made. But there is still much to accomplish. Thank you for joining us in the battle for equality as we seek to balance the scales for women in tech.
