Over time, Rubrik has steadily increased its hiring of women and people from underrepresented communities and supported more diversity in  senior-leader positions. The company also invests in creating a more inclusive environment through employee-led resource groups (ERGs), anti-racism and allyship workshops, and manager development focused on inclusive teams. To strengthen this work, Rubrik hired its first Director of Global People Development and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)  and will soon have a new head of DEI. This new team will build a strategy focused on hiring diverse talent and creating an inclusive culture where employees feel like they belong, can grow in their careers, and have opportunities to do meaningful work.

A journey for progress

Rubrik continues to make progress in a variety of areas, from improved diversity hiring, engaged and growing ERGs, and employee and leadership development focused on building more inclusive teams. The Women@Rubrik ERG drives awareness and engagement through events, such as International Women’s Day, speakers and fireside chats with women leaders, as well as programs, such as global mentoring groups. There is also a women’s ERG within engineering focused on supporting women in technical roles at Rubrik. Rubrik knows that there is more to do to make the technology industry more diverse and inclusive, but it looks forward to investing in resources and programs to drive progress in this area. The Women@Rubrik ERG leaders are part of the company’s DEI Council and collaborate closely with Rubrik’s other ERG leaders to support DEI and intersectionality across the company.
