This 10-week program will guide you in identifying, developing, and honing your leadership skills.
The Being ATHENA Leadership Program is a comprehensive 10-week virtual leadership development program to empower women leaders and drive positive change in their professional landscape.
This immersive program provides participants with a global platform, tools, and resources for creating professional pathways for expanding their sphere of influence, gaining increased confidence, cultivating greater resiliency in the face of change and challenge, and stepping up into their own leadership potential. A unique feature of this globally focused program is the opportunity to connect, learn from, and build relationships with other women leaders from around the world.
Built upon the ATHENA Leadership Model®, each session will focus on one ATHENA’s eight guiding leadership principles
"The Emerging Leaders program will walk you through not only the journey of self but a journey of your own truth. It will provide you the tools on how you can pave your own path personally and professionally by strengthening what you already know and embody. The stories that were conveyed from a group of diverse women in my group, as well as training and speaker‘s coaching, assisted me in my professional development.

This program is designed for women who are invested in their personal growth. It is ideal for those who are early and mid-level stage developing leaders. More experienced leaders will also benefit if they want to expand their level of leadership, coaching skills and interested in developing their teams.
Divided into ten learning modules over 10 weeks, each 2-hour virtual session will focus on one of the ATHENA leadership principles and include live polling, guest speakers, and interactive group discussion, led by a seasoned ATHENA facilitator. Attendees receive links to additional reading material and other tools and resources to supplement their learning and should allow an additional 1-2 hours each week for reflection, learning, connecting with your teammates, and preparation for our live sessions together.
Participants are expected to attend all 10 sessions to achieve maximum benefit and are strongly encouraged to block the time in their calendars to avoid any conflicts or distractions. We understand that sometimes circumstances prevent attendance, however, if more than 2 sessions are missed, the candidate will not earn the completion certificate and their participation in the program will be deemed incomplete.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of sponsorships to allow us to run multiple cohorts to support both your employees and to donate spots to other members of The WIT Network who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend.
You can sponsor a cohort of 30 women for the Being ATHENA Leadership Development Program. For this philanthropic gesture you are entitled to:
- Ten guaranteed seats in the cohort.
- Participate in the cohort time zone scheduling in collaboration with The WIT Network.
- A speaker spot during the program to share your company story and commitment to support women’s career journeys.
- Donate the remaining seats back into The WIT Network for others to participate.
- A tax receipt for the full value of your donation.
